New Solid Edge blogger in town

Starting today, a new Solid Edge Blog roll out “solidedging”

The blog  is own by Dave Ault, a Solid Edge user, who start using Solid Edge with the release ST1.

He own a small job shop where he wear all hats from design  to weld to CNC to…..

Dave was also involve in a Solid Edge user group in his region.

Siemens Newsgroup change domain

***Update***BBS changing systems/domain April 1th, 2011 ***UPdate*** 

The BBS (i.e. vBulletin and DNEWS) will be moving to the siemens.com domain this Friday, April 8th, 2011. The current URL http://bbsnotes.ugs.com/vbulletin will have a redirect to make the transition a bit easier. The new URL will be http://bbs.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com. If you are using the BBS from a news client, your client will need to be reconfigured. I posted a newsitem in every newsgroup to address the change. If you are using the BBS via a browser, other than updating your bookmark(s).

For newsreader client use dnews.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com for the serve

Hunstville Solid Edge user group

 The upcoming user group meeting for Huntsville is firmed up for the SE Huntsville office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 18 where the last meeting was held.

8 a.m. is for sign in, meeting start at 9 a.m.

Lunch is included and there are no fees for those of you wondering about this.
